I really want to record some new solo music. I have so many song ideas a-brewin’ just waiting to be actualized but I’m just so busy with school and everything, and all my music effort is going into Sweet Jets (we’re almost done recording our EP!). Anyways, I plan to have a few new songs up hopefully by spring time!

Well, I have been pretty inactive in terms of putting up new tunes. I have written a few more folkier ones, but haven’t really put much effort into recording them because I’ve been super focused on my new band, Sweet Jets!!! I’ve never been in a rock band before, and I’m so stoked about it. We’re actually just a two man band; I play guitar and sing, my friend Paul plays drums and sings. It’s like riff-oriented sixties pop but more garage-ish, more grungy. We’ve been practicing to the max in Paul’s basement, I’ve purchased a gnarly old Silvertone head and cab tube amp circa 1964, which sounds INCREDIBLE, and we’re about to lose our gig-ginity at a house party on Saturday. We wouldn’t want to have our first gig any other way. We’ve got a couple shows in bars and pubs in the next few weeks and we’re looking to record an A-side/B-side kind of thing towards the end of April. Expect big things from the Jets coming soooooooon!
